The 63rd Annual Rodeo was held
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,
July 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2008.
Hill country tradition, the Annual Pro-Open VFW Rodeo and PBR Bull Riding has been held for more than 60 years on the first weekend in July at the VFW's rodeo grounds just north of town on Ranch Road 12.
Once the largest outdoor rodeo in the world, the event still ranks near the top. Check out the menu

The VFW Rodeo is sponsored by VFW Post 6441, Wimberley, Texas as a not-for-profit event benefiting the community, veterans and active duty servicemen and women.
